Power Mechanics II/III

Power Mechanics II is designed for the second year Power Mechanics student with a desire to learn about small engines and the shop environment associated with small engine repairs.  The first semester will concentrate on a review of basic mechanical skills in the areas small engine theory, operation, assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting.  The second semester will allow students to bring in project engines from home to repair in class.  The engines will be entered in the Chowchilla-Madera Fair under small project repairs.  This class has a 2+2 Agreement with Merced College and we will be implementing the Mech 15 curriculum into this class.  Those who are able to take the challenge test at Merced College will receive college credit for this class.
